Keep a light jacket on hand today because cooler air is beginning to flow into Indiana and little to no sunshine will not help temperatures rise this afternoon. Temperatures have already dropped into the lower to mid-40s this midday and will remain steady during the afternoon hours.
The rain showers are moving out, however, cloudy skies will prevail for the rest of the day. The area will turn mostly cloudy tonight as lows drop into the upper 30s.
We should see more sunshine this weekend with higher pressure building into the Ohio River Valley. However, rain chances will increase late Sunday as another system approaches Indiana. Scattered rain will continue to fall through Monday with temperatures staying the 60s through Wednesday.
