Governor honors Arni’s Restaurant with Half Century Business Award

Governor honors Arni's Restaurant with Half Century Business Award (WLFI).

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Gov. Eric Holcomb honored Arni’s Restaurant with the Governor’s Half Century Business Award for the family-owned business’s longevity and service to its employees, community and the state.

The award recognizes 34 businesses and honors its contributions to the state’s economy and Hoosier workforce. Out of the 34, Arni’s Restaurant was on the list.

The restaurant has been in operation for 52 years in Tippecanoe County and has 18 different locations throughout Indiana.

“The restaurant business is tough enough as it is, but we take care of our community, and the community in turn takes care of us,” Arni’s co-owner Brad Cohen said.

Cohen said receiving the award wouldn’t be possible without his customers and the community.

“It’s just a nice award,” he said. “Real credit to not just our company as much as it’s our employees and customers and everybody who makes Arni’s what it is.”
