WHITE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — Gov. Eric Holcomb took the opportunity to sit down with some residents of White County Wednesday.

It was all for White County’s annual GOP Lincoln Day Dinner.

The governor took time to answer questions from those in attendance.

Holcomb said events like Wednesday’s dinner give him a chance to deliver what he and his staff promised during the campaign.

“What we have to make sure we do is, again, seize the day and make sure we’re doing everything that we can to address the skills gap for the jobs of the future and make sure that we come out of this Legislative session with a truly long-term, sustainable infrastructure program,” Holcomb said. “Indiana will in fact go to that next level.”

Holcomb stayed after dinner to shake hands and meet with residents.
