LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Local lawmakers discussed a variety of ongoing topics with some of their constituents Saturday morning.
State leaders and members of the Greater Lafayette Commerce talked over breakfast. Saturday morning’s breakfast was one of several that have taken place since January.
Legislators spoke about what they’re doing down in Indianapolis during the current Legislative session.
Tippecanoe County Council member Vicki Burch said infrastructure was among one of the most popular topics.
“How are we going to pay for it? We are the Crossroads of America and we need to have good roads which helps economic development,” said Burch.
There are two Third House sessions left this year. The events will be held on April 1 and April 15.
