FRANKFORT, Ind. (WLFI) — No one was injured after an accidental fire in Frankfort Friday morning.

Officials with the Frankfort Fire Department said it was a small kitchen fire at a home on the 200 block of North VanBuren Street.

Investigators said it appears an electrical issue is the cause of the incident. They ruled the fire accidental in nature.

There was minor damage to the kitchen and its ceiling, officials said.

Firefighters spent just under an hour on scene.

The residents were home at the time of the fire. No one was injured or received any medical attention on scene.
